Kalkan Dream (Sea & Mountain Views)
This 1st floor apartment is located on one of the most outstanding resorts in this area of Turkey, surrounded by attractive bougainvillea lined gardens, leading down to the private shoreline giving direct access to the clear blue waters of the Mediterranean. The apartment with it’s high timber beamed ceilings comes complete with airconditioning and a cooling ceiling fan in the bedroom. A Shower Rm/w.c. complete with hairdryer. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you should need , including a microwave, iron and ironing board and clothes airer. The separate bedroom has a two single beds, drawers, wardrobe & safe. The living area has a king size bed at one end & one large sofa bed at the other,wardrobe, t.v. dvd player, radio/cd player, air conditioning unit. Patio doors lead from the here onto a large balcony where you can sit and relax over a meal or drinks (dining table & four chairs provided) or lie back and enjoy the stunning views on the two sunloungers provided. As a guest at the apartment you will be able to enjoy all the benefits of the many facilities offered at the resort.
Facilities
Built into the hillside overlooking Kalkan, this resort has been carefully planned to provide stunning views from wherever you are. The resort has a number of restaurants and bars offering varied cuisines, The A la Carte Restaurant overlooking the sea, the Agora Restaurant serving delicious Italian cuisine, (special mediterranean themed nights are held here during the summer months) and the Apollonia Beach & Buffet Restaurant, or simply relax with coffee and cake at the patisserie on the Agora terrace. At the Agora Bar enjoy a drink watching the wonderful sunsets. The Apollonia disco/night club is open during the summer months, or for those who prefer their music a little quieter live music can be found on different nights in the summer season at The Piano Bar where you can relax and admire the attractive views.
There are four swimming pools, the two main swimming pools (one of which is for over 16s only) are located just above the shore line, another freshwater (the infinity pool)is at the top of the resort behind the apartment and there is a small indoor pool in the Hotel, along with mini gym, sauna beauty salon and turkish bath. If you find the sun too hot, have a siesta in the cool Ottoman style open air relaxation room. Access to the clear sea is reached by steps leading down from the numerous beach platforms. Sun beds and parasols are provided on these and around the swimming pools, mattresses and towels can be hired for a small fee. Tennis courts, volleyball, childrens club, water sports, scuba driving. A free shuttle bus operating for your convenience around the resort and for a small charge a taxi boat will take you across to the harbour at Kalkan. There is a shop located at to the top of the resort selling basic items and other shops can be found in Kalkan some of which offer a delivery service.
A car is not essential although always handy to visit further afield. Vehicles are not allowed on the resort except for loading and unloading to make it a safe environment.
Airport transfers can be arranged on request at a cost of approx. £45 each way. (up to four persons)

Kalkan
Kalkan, is one of Turkey’s many historic treasures. It rises gently from the bay and can be reached on foot (15 mins), by taxi boat or by the local taxi service which is very efficient and the prices are reasonable prices. Narrow cobbled streets, lined with many interesting shops wind their way down to the pretty harbour and small pebbly beach where sun beds,umbrellas and pedaloes are for hire. An abundance of restaurants, many of them set on roof top terraces offer a culinary delight, with wonderful views over the bay of Kalkan.
A market takes place on Thursdays in Kalkan and various boat trips run daily from Kalkan harbour. Bus and taxi trips to the many surrounding interesting and historical areas can be arranged from operators in Kalkan.
