The apartment is a five minute walk to a well stocked local shop and an excellent restaurant, which is open from 12am- 12pm daily. There is a good tennis club a ten minute walk from the apartment, which also has a good gym. the local golf club- La siesta IS A ten minute walk away-it is a nine hole challenging course, with an excellent restaurant which is open to non members. There a severasl wonderful beaches nearby plus the attractive port of Capopino. In Capopino, you can go out in a rib boat on dolphin watching trips, or trips to Pueto Banus. there asre also pedloes and banana boat rides. The beaches are gently shelving, and most offer good quality beach restaurants.
The apartment itself, overlooks a naturasl ravine, which offers good walks towards the Princess Palace and spectacular views. The apartment is so well located, that Marbella, Fuengirola and Malaga are all quickly accessed for the day or evening. there is a regular bus that runs along the coast road, for anyone not wanting to drive. However, car hire makes getting around a lot easier.
The resort of Calhonda itself is down the road, and offers a wonderful array of bars and different restaurants.There is a local land train which runs daily down to the coast, and Calahonda from outside the mini market.
