Pantano de los Bermejales villa rental details

Villa Los Tejaillos
Relaxing three-bedroomed villa with private pool. A secluded walled garden offers two large terraces with shaded outdoor dining. A barbeque is also available. The large top terrace is great for sunbathing. The villa comfortably sleeps five people, however there is a Z-Bed suitable for a child. There is also a travel cot available.

Los Bermejales and its lake
The villa is located within the hamlet of Los Bermejales within walking distance of bar/restaurants and a stunning lake. The lake provides swimming and fishing. Two small shops are located in the hamlet, one five minutes walk, the other is located within a nearby campsite. Two Bakers vans deliver fresh bread daily. Other vans deliver a variety of fresh and frozen goods.

The surrounding area
The surrounding area boasts wonderful scenery. Nearby mountains provide a backdrop to undulating hills and olive groves. Less than fifteen minutes drive is the town of Alhama De Granada with its historical church and surrounding gorge. Alhama also provides an excellent variety of bars, restaurants and shops. An outdoor market takes place every Friday selling local fruit, vegetables and a variety of clothes, shoes etc. The city of Granada offers the visitor the chance of experiencing a vivid, modern cosmopolitan city culture. Overlooking the city is the Moorish Alhambra Palace with its stunning gardens. The old part of the city with its narrow streets and large open plazas with numerous cafes also offer a chance to experience the Spanish culture of outdoor living. Rising above the city of Granada is the Sierra Nevada mountain range and Parque Natural offering winter ski-ing and attractive flora and fauna. The attractive Alpujarras (made famous by the book "Driving over lemons" by Chris Stewart), with its white mountain villages is only one hour and ten minutes drive from the house. Ninety minutes drive from the house takes you to the Costa Tropical and the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean.

Sophy says: "Weve just come back from a fortnight at Villa Los Tejaillos and we really didnt want to come home! The villa is lovely and cosy with everything you could possibly need, and more. The pictures dont really do it justice, the bedrooms are very pretty and spacious with plenty of storage, and the living/dining room is nice and roomy too. The pool and garden are lovely for lazing around, and very private.Its hard to drag yourself away. If you do, there is loads to do within about an hours drive, we had trips to Granada, the Costa Tropical, the Alpujarras and the Sierra Nevada. There are some lovely walks locally too if you fancy a rest from driving. The village itself is very peaceful with a couple of bars and a small shop. It was the perfect holiday for us and we will definetely be back. Thanks!"
