MIAMI PLATJA villa rental details

Casa Marina - beautiful Spanish villa
This is a lovely family holiday home on a well maintained private complex with a large swimming pool in the middle.

Upstairs there are three large bedrooms - one double with a sitting area and wrap-around terrace a second double with pool views and a twin - all with big built in robes. There is a large bathroom, with a bath, and a white marble stairway leading down to the ground floor.

Downstairs there is an entry hall way, a modern fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, a lounge with two suede double sofa-beds, a two seater leather sofa, flat screen television with hundreds of satellite channels. Theres a dining area with seating for eight and there is a second bathroom with shower. Internet access can be arranged through the on-site manager.

From the lounge you can walk through the double doors onto the patio that has an outdoor table setting and theres a charcoal grill. Theres a sun-bathing patio area around under the kitchen window, the garden is fenced and theres lockable car-car parking.

The on-site manager greets you on arrival and shows you to your villa where there is a welcome pack that includes wine, water, milk and soft-drinks. She is on-call 24 hours a day during your stay.

Villa location
Casa Marina Villa is in a wonderful location - only 20 minutes drive from Reus airport and one hour south of Barcelona airport. The villa is opposite parklands and Its only a three minute walk to the local cafe, 15 minutes to the supermarkets and 20minutes walking distance to Miami beach. A car is recommended to fully enjoy all the sites.

Port Aventura adventure park is a 20 min drive, BonMont Golf Course 15 min drive, and Barcelona 1hour. Trains run every couple of hours to Port Aventura, Tarragona and Barcelona from LHospitalet station, which is an eight Euro taxi fare away.

The villa has been renovated to a high standard in January 2010 and really looks wonderful with new sofas and beds. The cyprus trees around the fence line have grown to create a completely private garden allowing you to sunbathe on the sun lounges in the garden.

The guest book in the lounge offers some great ideas for day trips around Miami Playa and further afield. There are some picturesque villages in the mountains with wonderful restaurants (viva el menu del dia!) and interesting museums. If you would like some more information on this, just let me know.

Peter says: "Casa Marina Villa came up as available for instant booking but in the event it was alraedy booked. The owner arranged for us to have an identical villa on the complex Casa Tonet. There are around 20 semi detached villas around a beautiful shared pool and a pool bar. The complex manager lives on site and runs the bar wher we made new freinds and had an excellent time. The house was beatiful out and in and we used the built in barbecue everday. The beaches at Miami Playa and LHospitalet de lInfant are everthing you could wish for and Tarragona city and province will keep up excited interest for years and years of holidays."
