Location, Location, Location. This has to be one of the best spots between Marbella and Fuengirola. The Coronado apartments are set a few hundred meters from the azure blue waters of the Mediterranean and on a clear day the North African coast can easily be seen.
APARTMENT DESCRIPTION
Private off road car parking is available for those choosing to hire a car. The entrance to the complex has a reception which is manned though out the day by multi lingual staff. From the reception security lifts take you to the 5th floor where the apartment is located.
The entrance hall has the bathroom off which is equipped with shower, wash basin and w/c and is also where the washing machine is located. The hall continues directly into the large lounge dining room which has a comfortable three seat sofa and occasional chair where you can relax while being entertained on the flat screen television which has both Sat and DVD input. From the lounge large patio doors lead out to the South facing terrace where you have excellent sea views. The lounge also has a standard size pull down double bed which increases the sleeping capacity to four people, it neatly folds away into a cupboard when not in use so is not intrusive. Off the lounge is the bedroom with queen size bed, coordinating furniture and a fitted wardrobe. To the rear of the dining is where the new fitted kitchen is located. It is equipped with Ceramic Hob, Oven, Extractor, Microwave, Fridge and Dishwasher and also comes with a Kettle and Toaster. There is a good selection of cooking utensils, pots and pans so the chef will have no excuse.
FACILITIES
A weekly maid service with change of linen and towels is included. However, clients are required to bring their own pool/beach towels.
Our house is managed by a professional maintenance company with bilingual staff. They provide a 24 hour emergency service. We can arrange airport transfers, car hire, golf, tennis, restaurant bookings, tours, etc.
SWIMMING POOL
The Complex has its own large private pool to the South set in the attractive gardens, which is mainly laid to grass with shrub borders, an ideal place for sunbathing (all sunbeds are provided). There is also a separate pool for the children. There is a restaurant / bar with terrace seating overlooking the pool where drinks are food are available.
SHOPPING
There is a supermarket and a selection of shops within a three minute walk of the apartment most are open seven days a week. If you prefer to shop at one of the open markets there is one in Elviria every Friday or 15 minutes away by car to the La Cala market, open Wednesday and Saturday.
EATING OUT
Marbesa and its neighbors Carib Playa and Elviria have a dozen beach bar/restaurants all good and all specialising in fresh fish and sea food. You must try a paella it’s what this area is famous for. At the entrance to Marbesa is the El Rancho restaurant which offers a wide selection and have a very good BBQ. Along at Elviria there is a further excellent selection of foodie haunts.
BEACH
5 minutes and you are on the sand at some of the best beaches in the Marbella area. Heading to the West is a attractive stretch of beach leading to the Marriot Resort and the renowned Hotel Don Carlos with its world famous Nikki Beach Bar. What a treat to wander down in the evening and watch the sunset over the horizon with the water lapping at your feet. To the east along the beach is the Las Dunas nature reserve and Puerto Cabopino. This charming marina offers a selection of beach bars with outside dining and BBQ’s.
SPORTS
There are several fitness centres along in Elviria, the Don Carlos and Vincci Hotels as well as the Elviria Hills Golf club offer both Gym and Spa facilities.
Water Sports – from Pedalo’s to Hobicats and Water Skiing to Jet Skis all are provided by licensed operators. Tennis - can be found at the Don Carlos hotel, Elviria Hills Golf club, Club El Casco in El Rosario and Club del Sol in Calahonda.
Golf – Elviria and Cabopino have excellent courses and for the keen golfer the Costa del Sol boasts over 30 courses set in stunning locations.
Snow Skiing - The Sierra Nevada ski resort is about two hours from us and the season runs from December into May. All equipment can be hired once you get there all you need is some warm clothes. Adventura Amazonia is a new tree top theme park opened this year in Elviria the first of its kind in Spain and caters for all the family definitely worth a visit during your stay.
OUT & ABOUT
During your stay we recommend that you head for the rustic Andalucía countryside and visit some of the Pueblos Blanco’s (white villages), perched on the top of hills with breath-taking views and stunning scenery. The Moorish city of Ronda, the caves at Nerja and the Alhambra located in the city of Granada are all worth a visit, not to mention Gibraltar and across the straights to Morocco.
