Situated on the Manilva Green aparthotel complex, our guests also have use of the complex facilities inc. bars/restaurants, shop/supermarket, 24hr reception and security, internet access and free WiFi in the louge/bar area. On site there is a family pool, swimming poolside bar plus a childrens pool, in addition the nearest beach is less than 600 metres away, Sabinillas also has a wonderful sandy beach which is never crowded, and affords views towards Gibraltar and on a clear day, Africa.
Staying close to home just 1km from the complex, Manilva hosts a bustling Sunday market, well worth a browse. Or just 1km further on you will find Puerto de la Duquesa, which is one of the most attractive marinas along the whole of the Costa del Sol. The port itself has an attractive promenade and a wide range of shops, restaurants and entertaiment for all ages. Behind the port lies an 18 hole golf course, Duquesa Golf, designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., with fabulous views of the Mediterranean, Gibraltar and Africa. As well as Duquesa Golf there are more than 40 other golf courses along the 'Costa del Golf' including, Sotogrande, Finca Cortesin, Los Arqueros and Monte Mayor, not forgetting the world famous Valderrama and there are many more within a 40 minute drive.
If you want to travel further afield, Gibraltar, less than 26km (remember your passport!) is well worth a visit. You will struggle to see all this small rock has to offer in a day! A trip out to Dolphin World is great fun for children and adults alike and Dolphin World has one of the highest success rates in Europe at finding dolphins in the wild (99% chance of seeing Dolphins!) The trip lasts for 90 minutes during which time you guide will give you all the local history along the way. In addition, if you want to explore further, Morocco is but a short ferry crossing from the Rock.
Puerto Banus is just 30km away, the focal point being its stunning marina. It has berths for 915 boats, including those of the King of Saudi Arabia and several of the world's wealthiest individuals. Behind the harbour lie streets filled with bars, boutiques and nightclubs.
SPORT/ACTIVITIES: Manilva is a wonderful area to enjoy a range of activities for the whole family. Activities in Manilva include golf, water sports, sporting activities, horse riding and there is always loads of things to do and fun events for children.
