Our house
Our house is set out over three levels. On the top floor are two bedrooms (one double & one twin), both with aircon, balconies and bed linen provided. The two share a family bathroom with bath, shower, bidet and toilet.
The middle floor contains the main living area - the living room, kitchen and a cloakroom. The living room contains a double sofa-bed, television, CD player, DVD player and a music/games/books library. The kitchen has a microwave, four ring hob, toaster, washing machine, iron and ironing board. Patio doors lead into the private patio area with sun loungers, furniture and BBQ before leading onwards to the landscaped gardens and shared pool.
The bottom floor of the house contains the third bedroom with an en-suite shower room. There is also a garage available if required - ideal if you hire bikes or a car to explore.
Caleta de Fuste
Caleta boasts two crazy golf courses. For those who take their golf a little more seriously, it also has two 18 hole golf courses - including a Championship golf course which held the Spanish Open in 2004. This golf course has an academy as well for those who want practice!
There are a wide variety of watersports available (for example diving, windsurfing, surfing and jet skis) plus boat and submarine trips. Our extra-special resident Harvey the sea lion can also be found in the harbour and awaits your visit - swimming trips with Harvey are available!
The large horseshoe-shaped beach is a must for long lazy days. Many sports can be enjoyed on the beach and you will find volleyball courts and football pitches ready and waiting.
The restaurants are varied and will suit all tastes from those that want to blend with the locals to those who fancy fish and chips or a Sunday roast!
Caleta de Fuste does have some late bars, but it is in no way a "all night party" town.
While Caleta has more than enough to keep everyone busy, we do also suggest hiring a car and exploring inland, through the mountains and picturesque villages. From the landscapes of the mountains to the picturesque villages such as Pajara, there are many sights worth seeing. The zoo down the coast at La Lajita is also well worth a visit for those that enjoy zoos.
