General Description
A four bedroom, semi-detached house with both a private swimming pool and a hot tub. Casa Miramar is within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants. It is a 12minutes walking distance to the beach and just a few minutes drive to either of Caletas two golf clubs.
The property, which stands in an elevated position and benefits from wonderful sea views, is on two floors, connected by an external (covered) staircase. There are two large patios, one on the lower level at the back of the house (overlooking the swimming pool) and the other at ground floor level at the front of the house, where the hot tub is located. There is also a roof-top terrace with wonderful sea views.
All of the living rooms and bedrooms have ceiling fans which provide very effective ventilation in hot weather.
GROUND FLOOR: Steps lead to the front door and a balustraded terrace (reached from the lounge by patio doors) with a table and chairs. The dining room/sitting room/kitchen is open plan. There is a glass-topped dining table with six chairs, a two-seater settee and two easy chairs. There is also a CD/mini system. The room is divided from the kitchen by a breakfast bar.
The kitchen is equipped with a four-ring ceramic hob, extractor fan, full oven with grill, microwave cooker, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, electric kettle, coffee maker and toaster.
Bedroom 1: double bed, fitted wardrobes, ceiling fan, hair dryer.
Bedroom 2: twin beds, fitted wardrobes, ceiling fan, overlooking the pool, sea views.
Bathroom 1: These two bedrooms share a bathroom with bath with shower, toilet and hand washbasin.
LOWER GROUND FLOOR (Swimming pool Level): The lounge is on the lower level and has two leather settees (a three-seater and a two-seater), satellite television, video, DVD and a CD/mini-system.
Bedroom 3: twin beds + small bed suitable for a child, fitted wardrobes, ceiling fan, en-suite bathroom
Bedroom 4: double bed, fitted wardrobes, ceiling fan, hair dryer, breakfast patio
Bathroom 2: En-suite bathroom to Bedroom three (there is also access from the lounge to this bathroom) with bath with shower, toilet, bidet and hand washbasin. The washing machine is located here and an iron and ironing board are also provided.
The following are provided free of charge: welcome pack on arrival, beach towels.
A cot and high chair are available, if required (no charge). Please provide your own cot linen.
Wireless internet connection available on a pay-as-you-go basis.
Outside
An attractive feature of the house is the terraces and the Canarian-style gardens. The swimming pool, with swimming poolside shower, is approximately, 6.28 metres (20 7") long, 3.10 metres (10 2") wide and has a single depth of 1.36 metres (4 5"). There is a large swimming poolside sunbathing terrace with sunloungers, built-in bbq and table and chairs. There is also the added convenience of an outside fridge.
The front of the villa catches the late afternoon and evening sun and, to take maximum benefit of this, there is a further, large terrace. The five-person Jacuzzi is located here together with a further built-in bbq, wooden dining table and seating for up to eight. What better way to end your day than with a relaxing Jacuzzi followed by a leisurely bbq?
The Resort
It is a 12 mins walk to the beach. The gently shelving beach and calm, shallow waters of the bay make this a popular choice with families. Water sports enthusiasts are also well catered for and facilities include windsurfing, scuba-diving and sailing.
The situation of Caleta de Fuste, 8km (5 miles) south of the airport, makes the resort susceptible to some aircraft noise during the day (there is no night-time flying).
Shops, supermarkets and restaurants are within 2-10 mins walking time. Car hire is not essential at this location.
Caleta de Fuste, also known as El Castillo, is a modern, purpose-built resort with shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. The main shopping area is traffic-free and here you will find boutiques and gift shops as well as bars and restaurants. There is a wide variety of places to eat and most tastes are catered for. The resort is well maintained with nicely planted public areas which are kept litter-free.
