The Area
Puerto Cabopino with its picturesque Marina is absolutely lovely, relatively undiscovered and amazingly unspoilt. We have heard comparisons made with Puerto Banus the way it was 20 years ago.
The buildings are almost Italianate down by the Town Square and look wonderful in that rosy evening sunshine, whilst you are strolling by and browsing for that ideal table for Dinner.
We recommend the famous Alberts Restaurant on the side of the Marina - a lovely eatery with a covered Terrace and unusual interior. They also serve excellent Breakfasts, great coffee and you can get a birds eye view of all the fabulous boats moored just feet away !
For a more informal meal,a fresh orange juice or e few beers try Andys Beach Bar.......they usually play great music and the staff are very friendly. The beach is long and golden and there are quite a few beach bars or Chiringuitos as the Spanish call them.
Marbella is only 20 minutes away by car or bus and has wonderful shops, restaurants, bars, nightclubs, the attractive cool and shady Alemada Park, the historic Old Quarter with its quaint cobbled streetsand fabulous jewellers.....an endless list of things to do, see and experience.
Andalucia represents all that is quintessentially Spanish and has long been the destination of the discerning traveller. All the images that are associated with Spain such as Tapas, Bullfighting, Flamenco and attractive Moorish architecture can be found in this colourful region.
Based on the Malaga coast you will have easy access to key places of artistic & cultural significance.
The historic cities of Granada, Ronda, Cordoba, Sevilla, Jerez and Gibraltar are all within a two - three hour drive from Cabopino.
The culinary variety of this part of the coast reflects the influence of those who have chosen to settle here.
In this area you can find restaurants offering a wide range of foods from African to Indian, fish & chips to Spriing rolls.
