Studio apartment in private house with magnificent sea view, in the village of Mosteiros, walking distance from shopping facilities, restaurants and coffee shops. Nearest beach is two km distant, international airport is 25 km away. Property offers one two bed roomed apartment and two studio apartments for rent. Surrounded by extensive exotic tropical gardens (5,000 m2), guests share a magnificent swimming pool with uninterrupted sea views.
Each studio apartment sleep/living room with a double bunk bed, kitchenette, bathroom and television. Outside, guests have a BBQ (shared) and garden furniture at their disposal. Shared washing machine and two bicycles available.
Sleeps two adults + two children, self catering.
The region
Mosteiros is a parish in the district of Ponta Delgada in the Azores. The population in 2001 is 1,196, its density is 133.2/km² and the area is 8.98 km² (898 ha). It is located in the northwestern part of the island of São Miguel and is connected by roads to Ponta Delgada in the south and Ribeira Grande in the east. The mountains which are covered with lovely trees are to the east and a mountain range is located in the southeast about one km away from the Atlantic Ocean.
The village is aligned from north to south with the major road link to Ponta Delgada and Ribeira Grande. The main agricultural production are cattle with some fruits and vegetables and some farmings. It is fenced with grass that is colored golden brown. The coastline of the parish is surrounded by rocks elevating up to 20 m. There is a beach of black sand and there are natural swimming swimming pools caved in the rock.
There are two small islets to the northwest and three in the southwest incluing a large one further west and two smaller ones slightly east of the large islet.
