2 bedroom apartment at Vale da Ribeira, Arao
This apartment is well equipped, consisting of a good size open plan lounge / diner with a balcony overlooking the sea. There is satellite television in many languages. DVD player. Dining table for six persons. Well appointed kitchen area. one ensuite double bedroom with an extra single bed, and an en-suite bathroom. The 2nd bedroom has bunk beds and a single, ideal for a family. The shared pool is within attractively landscaped gardens. A car is essential for anyone wishing to stay in this location

The location
This exclusive urbanisation was built in 2007. It is attractively located five minutes from the A22 Motorway ten minutes from Lagos, Portimao and Alvor fishing village. The golden sands of Meia Praia beach are very suitable for families. Here you will find beach bars, boat trips, fishing etc. With several golf courses nearby, for which the Algarve is renowned. Lagos is a very quaint Portuguese town with cobbled streets, squares, lots of restaurants, cafes, bars, supermarkets and shops of all types.

What to do whilst you are here
Zoomarine, where you can swim and interact with dolphins (pre-book midsummer) The west coast of the Algarve has its wonderful views and wonderful surfing, only 30 minute drive. Monchique with its attractive mountains and stunning 360 degree views for miles. The hustle and bustle of Lisbon for a day trip. The Alentago for superb wines. Several water parks (open May until end September).
Many trips are available from local travel / tourist agencies to many areas in Portugal or across to Spain, Gibraltar and Tangiers.
