Lagos apartment rental details

General description
A wonderful large apartment approx 50 minutes from Faro airport, which sleeps a maximum of six people, located on this stunning championship golf course close to the beach resort of Luz and the historic town of Lagos, on the Western Algarve. The dual aspect sitting/dining room has a sunny wrap around terrace where you can relax on the sun loungers or have a romantic meal with views of the sea. This property attracts both keen golfing because it overlooks the first and second fairways and families because the swimming pool, tennis courts and childrens play area are within 100 metres.
The wide sandy beaches of Meia Praia and Praia dAna are within five minutes drive so is the popular watersports beach of Luz.

Boavista Golf opened on 1st January 2002, the impressive 18 Hole Championship golf course has been designed by Howard Swan MSc, past president of The European Institute of Golf Course Architects.His philosophy - to create a course as if it has always been there - has been sensitively applied at Boavista, preserving, integrating and harmonising with the areas natural terrain.

what you should know
A car is a must and there are at least four companies which hire them direct from Faro airport(contact me if you need advice). The journey is then a simple drive down the motorway to the attractive parts of the western algarve. There are some lovely rugged parts of the coastlines with secluded beaches a short distance drive from the apartment which means if you want to go for long walks away from people this is possible. If you want bars and restaurants then Lagos is a very short taxi ride(1.5miles) and it also has lovely markets and shops. It would suit both those wanting a more active/beach/family holiday, or avid golf lovers as well as those wanting to get away from it all.

This property overlooks the 1st and 2nd Fairways of this championship Golf course at Boavista. Residents are entitled to discounted rounds of golf if they present their guests cards on booking. There is a small charge for use of the tennis courts and these can be booked at the golf club reception desk. The swimming pool has a childrens pool too. babysitting facilites are also available as well as the hire of cots etc.

The apartment comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 1 double,1 twin and 2 cots, 2 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The property also has a double sofa bed located in the in Sitting room. This room gives up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

General:
apartment has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the apartment cool. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

Entertainment:
The apartment has television. The music system will play radio.

Eating & Living:
There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Miranda was prompt in answering any queries or questions I had about arrival procedure and resort info. The apartment was a real joy - everything was clean and tidy and the views were just spectacular. My only criticism was that the air con proved a little difficult to master which wasnt ideal in such hot weather! It was without a doubt however a perfect holiday in a perfect apartment in a perfect location. I even got a perfect proposal!!!"
