The Farm house
The Pratale estate receives its guests in two old manors, surrounded by the attractive tuscan country-side, with vineyards sloping gently down to wild shrubs, pines and cypress-trees. The building has been completely restored and is now divided into several independent apartments, all of which have a separate entrance and an open place in order to enjoy the quietness and the view of the landscape.
The apartments are provided with central heating for wintertime and with all the facilities of modern comfort, yet maintaining by furnishing and style the spirit of typical tuscan country-houses. At the Fattoria the guests find a bowling lane, two swimming-swimming pools both for children and adults, a Laundromat, a payphone, mountain bikes and television-sets. From Pratale, located on the hills near Florence and only fifteen minutes away from the city, many excursions can be made to the innumerable places of cultural and tourist interest since the estate is not too far away from the highway Florence-Siena.
In the village of Sambuca, three km away from Pratale, are shops, art & craft studios and inns. In close proximity lies the ancient abbey of Badia a Passignano, worth seeing its cloister and crypt, dating back to the year 1000.
