Villa Clara
This area of Sardinia is famous for outstanding beauty of the sea with sandy beaches and turquoise water of the surrounding small islands. The area is exclusive to private villas and residents, it is not a mass tourist destination as there are no large hotels in the vicinity.
The closeness of the property to the sea and the privacy of the compound with well tendered comunal gardens make this property ideal for a tranquil soujourn by the sea. There is a roof terrace with wonderful sea views is ideal for sunbathing and al fresco dining.
The area is only occupied by private villas some of which are stunning. Within walking distance of two or three minutes you will fnd some shops for basic needs. A car is really essential to visit other attractive beaches and parts of the costline of this area and to reach some of the great restaurants nearby where you can sample terrific food as well as some great local wines.

EKaterina says: "My friend and I went to Casa Clara in August 2009. The house looked much better than on pictures! The roof terrace was particularly nice. Sunbathed during the day and admired stars at night. Fantastic! Everything in the house was in perfect order and completely new. The owner met us as agreed and he spoke perfect English. During the entire stay he helped us with everything (there was not much we needed because things were already there in the first place). The owner even organized Russian TV for us. That made us feel so welcomed! We were stupid enough to come without a car (I dont advise that!) and even like that we were good (there was a bus). And there was a little shop (5 minutes walk) with ALL necessary food/household goods. The beach (a small public beach) was just a short stroll from the house. Literally 1 minute walk. There were also very nice other places to swim 10 - 20 minutes drive. I also have to mention that the whole area (Punto Rafael) is very well kept. Beautiful plants, flowers and of course all these yachts and millionaires villas. And the weather was perfect. Not a cloud in the sky. Hot, but always breeze from the sea. I would also like to mention that it was a great place for speed-walking. And if you go there you shouldnt miss a day-trip on the boat (from Palau, which is 10 minutes away). It was the highlight of our holiday. We had an absolutely wonderful time and recommend Casa Clara for everyone! Ekaterina and Igor"
