Monopoli country house rental details

Recently restored cluster of 6 trulli with private pool.
The trulli are set amongst spectacular ancient olive groves and have a private garden with various fruit trees. The 200-year-old trulli have been lovingly restored to the highest standards and maintain many of the original features. With no direct neighbours, the property is ideal for a relaxing holiday and yet conveniently close to attractive sandy beaches and golf courses.

Accomodation
The property has three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The trulli comprise a large living area with open fire, two double-bedrooms (one with en-suite bathroom), a well-equipped kitchen and a second bathroom. The separate lamia building has a kitchen corner with open fire, a double-bed with en-suite bathroom. Both units open onto the large courtyard paved with traditional "chianca" stones and the whole property is enclosed by the original dry-stone wall, guaranteeing total privacy and security.
The interiors are an elegant blend of traditional Pugliese design and airy minimalism.
The private 4x8 swimming pool is complemented by a large external pergola providing covered seating area with table, sink, outdoor shower (with hot water) and barbeque to fully enjoy al fresco dining.

Location
The property is only minutes away (4km) from the most attractive beaches of the area and the lively nightlife of Il Capitolo, but it is yet attractively secluded and peaceful. Other near-by attractions include golf courses, ruins of Roman city Egnazia, a safari-style zoo, and a botanical garden. The other main towns of the area, Monopoli, Ostuni, Polignano and Alberobello are all within a short drive. Grocery shopping, bakeries, supermarkets and pharmacies are very close in Il Capitolo or Fasano. Close-by towns of Fasano and Monopoli both have hospitals. Renting a car is essential.

Wireless internet access is included in the rate (enquire ahead for conditions/characteristics). The pool is open from May until October and it is equipped with an alarm that goes off when unattended children come within a certain distance of the pools border.

The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.
