Peaceful and tranquil with stunning views
The cottage is located on the Beara Peninsula half way up a Mountain with spectacular views over Kenmare Bay and the Mountains beyond. There is also the Beara Mountains to the back of the property. It is very peaceful and tranquil for a relaxing holiday.
To tour the surrounding areas is easily accessible from the cottage, drive down to the main road and turn left - you are on the Beara Peninsula! The Beara Peninsula is one of the most unspoiled areas in Ireland - rugged and attractive with breathtaking views - lots of places to stop off as you travel around the Peninsula - Gleninchiquin to see the water falls, Healy Pass to see some wonderful vistas or little sandy coves to look out to the Atlantic from - try spotting Dolphins!
Once you have toured the Beara Peninsula why not try the Ring of Kerry! Longer than the Beara it also has spectacular views and lots of historically interesting points to see.
Then of course, you can travel down the N22 and have a day in Blarney - Blarney Castle and its lovely gardens and grounds - why not climb the stairs and kiss the Blarney Stone while you are there!
A little further down the N22 and you will reach Cork where you can spend a fascinating day seeing everything there is to see.
Of course you could always spend a day heading in the opposite direction and see Dingle - another spectacular part of the South West - go a little further and visit Limerick - steeped in history.
Or if travelling isn't for you why not just sit on your private decking area at your cottage home and drink in the views right here on your doorstep!
