Suituated in the Gaeltacht, an Irish speaking region, three miles off the N25 outside Dungarvan in Co. Waterford. An Chrannóg is located within easy walking distance of local shop, Post Office, Church, Irish College, sandy beaches, shore and rock fishing spots, scenic walks, Helvic Head, traditional pubs, etc.

In recent years ten scenic walks in the region have been developed. You can discover Waterford's woodlands, coast, river banks and cliffs on foot.

This is an ideal location to explore the southern region of Ireland. The counties of Kerry, Cork, Limerick Tipperary, Carlow and Wexford all within a two hour drive.

We found a lovely little pub called the marine which plays music and Dungrvan is a ten minute drive. away. Must say we had a wonderful time and so looking forward to going back. Also the owner Nell gave us a warm welcome and a home made apple pie what more could you ask for .. "
