Kefalonia villa rental details

The villa
A newly built villa nestling amongst the traditional Greek properties in the village with first floor accommodation over a private basement. Positioned on the hillside in the village of Aleimatas with wonderful sea views of 120 degrees and looking across to the island of Zakinthos (Zante) which you feel you can almost touch! Skala town is just a ten minute drive away and the attractive beaches of Kiminnia and Mounda are within a six minute drive. Perfect base for anyone wanting to explore this attractive island. Far enough away from the bars and towns to be very peaceful but near enough to take a short drive in for Skalas many good tavernas and restaurants.

Various slopes have been built to accomodate wheelchairs although there are still two or three small steps to be taken into consideration.

Outside
Beautiful gardens at front of property, with unspoilt and private greek landscape to the rear. Portable barbeque and plenty of outdoor furniture.

Coast/Beach
Many beaches within ten minute drive.

Travel
45 minutes to airport. Car hire is highly recommended.

Distances
10 minute drive to Skala town and ten minutes the other way to fishing village of Katelios. The real Greece!

Further details
The beaches of Kiminia and Mounda are wonderfully quiet with shallow waters. Perfect for peace and quiet and with a stunning view to Zakynthos. Mounda is also famous for spotting Loggerhead turtles.

Kefalonia is the largest island in the Ionian Sea and one of the world`s most stunning holiday destinations, with charming beaches and high quality resorts.
Highlights not to miss while at the island: the famous beach of Myrtos (amongst top ten in the world!), the natural beauties of Mellisani lake, the deep-green mountain of Ainos where the unique species of wild small horses can be met (if lucky!), the local "robola" wineries and last - but not least - the traditional meat pie!
