A building with special architecture
The House is located in the South of Crete, in the very attractive, traditional area of Vori.
It is close to both Festos – an archeological site, and the Livyan Sea.
It was built in 1890 by Doctor Nikoletakis who succeeded in combining glamour with Cretan folk tradition.
Renovated in 2000 with the love and passion that this building
deserves.
It can offer comfort and hospitality reminiscent of times past.
With the character of Cretan tradition in its own environment it can offer hospitality in all seasons and to everyone who likes to be close to the nature and is looking for a lifestyle away from the busy rhythms of tourist resorts.
It is stone made, two-storeyed, high-ceiling, with a lot of daylight
and can accomodate up to six people.
In the ground floor one can find a sufficiently equipped kitchen with fire place, comfortable dining/living room, one double bedroom with fire place and a bathroom.
On the first floor there are two double bedrooms and a bathroom.

There is a large courtyard with a traditional wood oven, trees and flowers.
One can find peace and time for relaxing and reflection.
Sight - Seeing
Those who love sun and the sea can enjoy the beauty of the nearest beaches (Komos - 6km, Pirgos - four km, Kalamaki - five km, Matala - eight km, Agia Galini - 15 km) that are all good for swimming, food and music.
In the village, and close to it, there are nice cafeterias and little tavernas.
The place offers lots of options for short excursions and mountaineering.
For those who want to learn about the Minoan Crete - the Festos Palace and Agia Triada are located around two km away. In the village of Vori one can also find the remarkable museum of ethnology and many interesting Byzantine churches
in the surrounding area.
