General Info
The Villa is a three bedroom detached building with two bathrooms, a large dinning room and a large kitchen. It is a full equipped house with refrigerator, cooker with four hot-plates, microwave oven, plates, glasses and everything has an independent house. The villa has two verandas with sea view and she is surrounded by a two hundred square meters garden with flowers and bearing fruit trees. It also has a barbeque in the garden. The main characteristics of this villa are its quietude, its magnificent view, its total harmony with the surrounding landscape and its privileged location with respect to the most interesting sites and beaches of the Chania province. The guests may use the guesthouses swimming pool and optionally, all the other facilities.
The place is harmonically combined with the environment since no poisons are being used either to the gardens or for the cleaning of the rooms, as well all the products for the breakfast and the meals are biological grown up either on our own vegetable garden and bearing fruit or in special selected farms which are growing their products according to the rules of the biological agriculture
The guests are advised on a series of walks which can be taken from here, some guided, which can lead to waterfalls, hilltop Byzantine churches- or to enjoy rural Crete at its finest.
The place it is also offered for walking since you will find small paths around the hotel which will lead you to positions with unique view. The property will give you a thousand reasons to stay indoors!
Traditional wholesome food is served, using only local produce, and the entire operation is run by the gently people of Elia, who meets quests and explains how to benefit to the full from your stay at this unique heaven.
A walk around is itself an experience. Wander around the ruins of a Venetian house, sit on the stone benches with their wonderful views or simply wandering through the olive groves and orchards which encircle the main building. Upon your return you may have booked one of the many themed holistic treatments offered here, including use of the Turkish bath, an aromatherapy massage or a Jacuzzi with rose petals and jasmine oil.
A short walk from the property is also the oldest living olive tree in the world, some 2,500 years old. The guests of Elia are advised on a series of walks which can be taken from here, some guided, which can lead to waterfalls, hilltop Byzantine churches- or simply to enjoy rural Crete at its finest.
Near are the beaches of Kolimbari, Falasarna and Balos or a drive through the mountains will take you to the south-coast, famed for its beaches and where you can also take a whale and dolphin-spotting cruise.
