Deux-Sevres gite rental details

Lovely two bedroom gite in converted Etable
Situated in the south of the Deux Sevres region of the Poitou Charentes La Moderation
is in the ideal position for those wanting to explore this attractive region, or just to sit back and relax
in the sun.
Our gite, Le Petite Etable is a former cowshed attached to the end of the main building of this former
farm dating from the 1800’s. Which we now run as a small family camping and caravan site in the south
of the Deux Sevres in the heart of the Pouiou Charentes region, “La Couer de la Charente”. This area
which has on average around 2400 hours of sunshine every year, is second only Provence and the
Côte d'Azur! But because it is largely undiscovered, we do not have the crowds of tourists that you find
in some of the other better known touristique regions in France. This secret area has conserved its
tranquility and the unspoiled beauty of authentic rural France. In summer time the enormous golden
fields of sunflowers known in France as Tournesol because of the way they turn and follow the sun t
hroughout the day, are a truly a delight for the eyes. The surrounding countryside is fairly flat open
farmland with plenty of Pleasant walks along tracks with only occasional traffic on them and plenty of
wildlife especially the birds of prey and small deer that roam the wooded areas

The gite comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 1 double,1 twin and a cot. The property also has a double sofa bed located in the Living room. This room gives up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

Entertainment:
The gite has television. The music system will play radio.

Eating & Living:
There is room for 4 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.
