Trans en Provence is a pleasant village located 20 minutes’ away from seaside resorts and is an ideal base to discover the deep Var. Situated five km from Draguignan and ten km from Le Muy (N7 and A8), it is ideally located to explore the area. In the village, you will be able to admire the Nartuby waterfalls.
The village is set in the Dracénois countryside which consists of a number of old buildings and villages. The landscape varies, to the south fertile fields of vineyards and olives, and the north-east hills covered with forests of pine and oak trees. Access to the east to the Riviera and west to Provence.

Draguignan. seven km. Pleasant town once a military centre but now with tourist and cultural attractions. Lovely avenues lined with plane trees surround the old city. Excellent shopping and markets. Several museums.
Flayosc. 15 km. Pretty town with typical Provencal streets and great views from the church out across the vineyards.
Lorgues. 15 km . Small and very pleasant medieval town with a maze of old streets, open squares and fountains, surrounded by vineyards and olive trees.
Salernes. 25 km. Medieval town built around its castle, in a picturesque setting in the valley of the Bresque river. Best known for its tradition of tile making, especially for the trademark terracotta hexagonal floor tiles of Provence.

Le Jardin de César et Léonie, Le Muy. ten km. Horse riding, Tree top adventure park. For great thrills in all security, up to 12m in height. Different trails for all abilities and ages and a lovely way to discover the forest. Also pony and horse rides available. At Les Folies de Léonie, there is free access to a giant playground under parents’ supervision.
Provence Aventure, Vidauban. 15 km. Tree top adventure park. A attractive setting, in the heart of an oak forest, on the banks of the Argens River. Different trails for the whole family (from the age of 3) according to ages and abilities including for the fearless ones a 200m-long zip line crossing the Argens river. A refreshing experience!
Golf de St Endréol, La Motte. 15 km. Golf course. 18 holes Par 72 - 6219m. In a stunning, sun-drenched natural setting, a spectacular and internationally renowned course offering splendid views over the river Endre.
Aoubré - L'Aventure Nature, Flassans-sur-Issole. 25 km. Tree top adventure park. A park for the whole family with trails adapted for all ages and abilities. In total, seven different trails offering 105 workshops. Also do not miss the visit of the small farm with large enclosures. Allow the whole day to make the most of it.

Fréjus. 25 km. Seaside resort, ancient military port and Roman city, with a rich and impressive historical and architectural heritage. Some stunning scattered Roman remains can still be seen including one of the largest amphitheatres from Gallic times and a Roman theatre still in use for summer events.
Ste Maxime. 30 km. Fashionable and elegant seaside resort with old cobbled streets, designer boutiques, excellent restaurants, colourful port and a choice of attractive sandy beaches. Boats across the bay to St Tropez.
Aups. 35 km. Pretty Provencal hill top village overlooked by the remains of its medieval castle. Its weekly markets are famous including its winter truffle markets.
St Tropez. 45 km. Authentic fishing village but also trendy and glamorous seaside resort and favourite holiday spot for the rich and famous. Wonderful night life, exquisite restaurants, chic boutiques, delightful old quarters, glorious beaches including the famous five km-long Plage de Pampelonne.
