Deux-Sevres gite rental details

La Bodiniere
La Bodiniere is located one mile outside the pretty town of Moncoutant on the Deux Sevres - Vendee border allowing easy access to all attractions both regions have to offer. Set in five Acres of gardens and meadows La Bodiniere enables you to enjoy the tranquility and relaxation of the French countryside yet is only five minutes away from the local village and ten minutes drive from the town of Bressuire with its Chateau and twice weekly markets.

The Gite
La Bodiniere is a charming two bedroom gite that has many character features but benefits from all modern facilities. There is the option of sleeping up to six people with a large master bedroom, twin room and two double sofa beds. The large open plan kitchen/dining area has a fully fitted kitchen and the separate lounge has large comfy sofas, wooden floors and Satellite television, DVD and CD player. Although not detached the property does benefit from a private garden where you can find an above ground 3.5m pool(open June - Sept incl.), patio area for alfresco dining and childrens play area including sunny and shaded areas.

We also live at La Bodiniere and are on hand at all times to ensure that our visitors have an enjoyable holiday.

The Surrounding Area
The nearest supermarket is only 1km away with boulangeries and local shops in the village including three bars and three restaurants less than a ten minute drive away. There is also the local nature reserve, Pescalis, which covers 100 acres and is perfect for picnics, fishing, horse riding, biking, walking trails and includes a childrens play area and mini-golf.

You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The welcome hamper was so well stocked we didnt have to visit the supermarket until the day after we arrived, the garden was beautiful and the climbiTng frame and pool kept our young son entertained. The area was excellent and we found somewhere different to go every day, La Rochelle is amust with its child friendly beach and gorgeous marina. Jo and Ian were very friendly and welcoming, they were on hand if you needed them but didnt invade our space. They had thought of all the small details in the house and we really didnt want for anything during our stay. The meal we had on arrival was gorgeous and a pleasant suprise. I really couldnt reccommend Jo and Ian and there gorgeous property enough, by far the best Gite we have ever stayed in."
