Charente cabin rental details

Chalet set just steps away from a full service Rural lakeside Resort.
The Clairière is a small collection of chalets locataed just steps from the Etang Vallier Resort. It is set in a attractive forest dell just steps above the sandy manmade beach. This is a perfect getaway with only four chalets sharing a large 10x10 metre pool.

Enjoy all the facilities of Etang Vallier Resort just steps away from your chalet.

Activities reserved to park residents in the Clairière chalets or in the Pinèdes houses:
Locally sponsored sports, arts and crafts and more that are planned for each july and august. These have included archery, walks, volleyball tournaments, etc. The schedule is released each June for the summer period.

DVD player, individual barbecues are for let. Internet access is in the Clubhouse & Spa. Chalets have either a dishwasher OR washing machine inside and either 2 single sofa beds or 1 double sofa bed. There is a shared washing machine only 20metres away. Leisure items (pool table, ping pong, sauna, other games are all in the Clubhouse & Spa only 2 minutes walk on site- some are free- others work with slots 0€50-2€ per game.

There is room for 4 in the living room and 4 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Peter says: "The Chalet was in a tranquil wooded setting which provided a perfect relaxing and peaceful outlook . The detached property was simple but comfortable and appointed with everything you would need for a long get-away, including Satellite television. The property had loads of space separating it from the adjacent chalet so you really felt you were in your own private haven. The shared pool was of a good size and standard but not for the feint hearted as it was quite cold, however the heated pool on the main site was excellent. The staff on site were helpful and friendly, especially Eleanor who was always available on her mobile at any hour of the day or night should any problems have arose. The overall ambience of the site was laid back and in relaxed lakeside setting. The on site restaurant provided food of a good standard, at a reasonable cost and overlooked the lake which provided the perfect back dro p. Our only disappointment was that the advertised spa and gym facilities were not completed as promised on the website, this was one of the major factors that led us to choose this site so we felt a little misled, hopefully it will be up and running for the 2011 season!"
